housewives' parties, vanderpump style

Wow, what a finale last night on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! You can always count on a few shouting matches at the most glamorous of parties. 

I really get soooo excited checking out all the details of the party décor, and Lisa Vanderpump with the help of party planner Kevin Lee always makes it fun to watch!

The party décor really got my attention, which helped to balance out all the drama. The arguing took a back seat, for me, as I soaked in all the details of twinkle lights, candles, the pink and rosé furnishings, all the mirrors and fabulous appetizers that were circulating about. 

I really loved the comfy rosé colored sofas and chairs arranged under the flowy cabanas in Lisa's amazing backyard. 

Candelabras, votives and oodles and oodles of pink roses were sprinkled throughout the party, and the dress code was of course, diamonds and rosé. 

There were a few “out there” hairstyles, but overall everyone look beautiful, and they had the option of being crowned with a lovely rose garland for their hair upon arriving.

Here’s another lovely table of Lisa’s that got me inspired. I think this look with the pink rose tablecloth would be gorgeous for mother’s day.

Lisa’s signature color is of course pink, and she totally goes overboard with the pink roses and other flowers, but it really works, don’t you think?

Well, party season is now officially over for the Beverly Hills housewives. I did miss seeing Kyle’s white party this year. 

They didn’t film it for the show, I guess, but these BH gals always throw great parties!! You can’t compare their parties to any of the other housewives franchises. 

Now we’re gearing up for the Real Housewives of New York City. Will you be watching?

I think Dorinda is the only one who really enjoys throwing dinner parties at her own home in the Berkshires, and always tries to “make it nice”, otherwise most of the NY housewives' parties are held in restaurants. 

Bethenny can throw a great party too, but they’re always filled with so much placement of her own personal products, in an obnoxious sort of way, that it sometimes takes away from the fun ambiance of a party, for me.

One big party this year in NYC will be Luann’s wedding, but only one of the other NYC housewives will be there. 

Hmmmm.

in Beverly Hills. 

Add two more drama queens to the mix,

and also to get a glimpse inside their fancy homes. 

With Lisa Vanderpump now the editor in chief of

Beverly Hills Lifestyle magazine, we get another little peek at the Real Housewives…

drama and other stuff!

For example, here are the photos of Dorit that caused a little controversy with the women. Dorit was doing Lisa a favor by modeling Lisa’s jewelry for a photo shoot. Well, when Dorit complained about how she looked in the pics, and then Lisa went ahead a published them anyways, with the simple solution of cropping Dorit’s head off!!

how old are the real housewives of beverly hills?

Have you ever found yourself watching an episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and wondering, "Exactly how old are these ladies anyway?"  Well, here are all the details on this age-old question!

Adrienne Maloof is 50 years old.   She was born on September 4, 1961.  Looking pretty awesome for the big 5-0, if I  do say so myself!  It may help that her hubby is a well-known plastic surgeon.

Lisa Vanderpump is 50 years old.  She was born on September 15, 1961.  People have speculated and often joked that Lisa is much older, but this Brit is looking as stunning as ever.

Kim Richards is 47 years old.  She was born September 19, 1964.  She began acting in 1970 when she was 6 years old!

Camille Grammer is 43 years old.  She was born on September 2, 1968.   This means four of the Housewives are Virgos.  No wonder there's so much drama!

Kyle Richards is 42 years old.  She was born on January 11, 1969.  Just like her sister, this Capricorn began her acting career in 1975 when she too was 6!

Taylor Armstrong is 40 years old.  She was born June 18, 1971.  As if there were any doubt this Housewife is a full-on Gemini...

Brandi Glanville is 38 years old.  Her most recent b-day celebration was spent in Las Vegas in August.  So it looks like she's one lioness of a Leo!

Dana Wilkey is 37 years old.  She was born March 1, 1975, making her the youngest (wanna be) Housewife and a go-getting Pisces.

kyle richards' new house

If you watched the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this week, then you saw Kyle fall in love with a gorgeous new house. Well, technically it’s an old house, as it was built in 1912, but recently remodeled.

This stunning home is known as the former Smokey Robinson Estate and is located behind impressive iron gates on one and a half acres, and it’s not in Bel Air or Beverly Hills. It’s in the valley, in beautiful Encino.

To me the Kyle and Mauricio story line seemed a little phony, like they already knew they were going to buy the house, but were pretending not to know if they really wanted to move.

So here's the home, in all its "multiple listing" photo glory. 

They did in fact move in around October,  

so we won't be seeing her well-known Bel Air

home anymore on the show.

she kept talking about all season.

A pretty vintage fireplace and mantel.

The kitchen was recently renovated.

But what’s really spectacular,

are the outdoor living spaces.

I love the vintage charm of this home!

And I can’t wait to see it

next season on the RHOBH.

White Parties out here in the backyard!

Lisa Vanderpump's daughter Pandora got married

this weekend at their private estate in Beverly Hills.  

It sounds like the Bravo cameras were not there

to capture the wedding for the RHOBH, 
or maybe they were.  

Some reports say that Bravo wants to keep it

hush-hush for a while, and this may offset

some of the negativity right now.
