favorite yellow garden flowers

I love the pop art quality of these vintage food tins, so I paired them with a pop of some of my favorite yellow flowers.

These nasturtium are a variety called Peach Melba that I grow in my garden, and I picked up the daffodils at Whole Foods Market, and they smell divine!

Fresh yellow flowers certainly brighten up this part of the living room, and add a dose of sunshine.

a gorgeous glass pumpkin cloche

One of my most favorite pieces that I’m using this fall is this gorgeous Pumpkin topped glass cheese dome by Vagabond House. There are so many options for using this lovely cloche, besides elegantly serving cheese and other charcuterie items.

I think it’s just so pretty with a fun holiday vignette featuring my favorite little pumpkins on a bed of excelsior. A few little acorns are sprinkled in just for a cute seasonal accent.

I’ll be using this later in the month for my pumpkin cakes and desserts. Have you been baking yet this fall? I’m so ready, but we’ve had a little heatwave this week, so my plans have been on hold.

One of the first things I’ll be baking are these Apple Walnut Blondies that also include chocolate chips for the most amazing fall dessert ever!

Check out more gorgeous fall and winter tableware from Vagabond House HERE. The pewter and white Talelayo tablecloth and napkins are by August Table.

mini sunflowers from the garden

These sunchokes are growing rampant in my backyard and are about 8 feet tall! I planted them about 5 years ago, and now every September they just go wild.

I love how jumbled up they look in this vintage French mustard crock. They’re known for their delicious, edible roots, but I’m all about the flowers. They’re like mini sunflowers, and I’m here for it!

Such a cozy spot for my cup of tea. Today I feel like a spot of chamomile, tomorrow, it may be Earl Grey.

This is one of my treasured tea cups that I have available on ebay right now, but I'm having second thoughts. This one is so elegant, I might keep it!

Happy 2nd day of Autumn 🌻 I hope it’s a great one!

candy hearts and pink tulips

Here’s a little
 pinteresting and fun flowerscape
I put together for

Valentine's Day

and all you need to pull off this look is
a bag of conversation hearts,
a pretty bunch of tulips and
two nesting glass vases.

I spotted this idea on pinterest
a few years ago and thought it would be fun

to recreate!

Place one cylindrical vase inside another
and just make sure you have a nice gap
inbetween the vases for filling with candy hearts.

One package of candy was all I needed
for this eight inch vase.
