Easter table inspiration

Let's start with my latest Easter tablescape
that's so perfect for the kids!

Edible wheat grass is set in little clay pots
and then planted with a chocolate bunny pop!

Here's a little more Easter table inspiration from Pinterest.

I love the look of  fresh veggies used in unique ways

Simple Easter setting in turquoise.

Here is a little something I came up with this year for fun!
I was inspired by the vibrant kelly green linens and bunny dish.

Easter of 2013 I used different colored paper circles with each
guest's name printed from the computer under glass plates.

This Easter was inspired by coastal
accessories and shades of turquoise and
I love how the white chocolate bunnies look at the table.

How are you going to set your table?
I'd love to see your tablescapes too.

Post them on my facebook page.

While I’m here today, I wanted to share some of my "Tablescaping Essentials" with you. I have a whole page on the Amazon website with my favorite picks for setting a beautiful table.

Quite often time is of the essence, and I have last minute projects or events to work on, so I turn to Amazon for one or two day delivery. You’d be surprised at how many amazing items they have to offer! And I'm constantly updating this page with my new favorites.

You can check it out here, at Tablescaping Essentials.

planning my Easter table

Planning my Easter table is so easy with the fun and so budget-friendly with the goodies that I get at Oriental Trading! This year, I chose a few key items for my table as well as a few little treats for the kids. Of course, the adults will love the treats too!

This is the kids table, set with fancy scalloped edge paper plates, fun glasses, bright napkins and then to finish off the look, a cute little take-home gift. Each of our young guests will get to take home this darling little flower pot filled with real Easter grass and planted in the middle is a tasty chocolate lollipop!

At the center of the table is Oriental Trading’s long wood box filled with lush green wheat grass and surrounded by tiny purple wax flowers. This Easter grass will come in handy when we’re hiding Easter eggs throughout the house, but for now it’s a gorgeous living centerpiece.

This versatile wooden box can be filled with so many different plants, flowers and candles and it can even be painted a fun color for a future holiday table.

Each place setting is ready with fun scalloped edge paper plates in mint green, hot pink napkins, and our little chocolate friend that’s all planted and ready to bring smiles to young faces.

This “Easter Grass” keeps growing, so the kids will have fun giving it a haircut! They can even draw silly faces on the pots when they get home and they’ll have a new easy to take care of little pet! And there’s no mess like you have with traditional Easter grass. That stuff is soooo messy!

I love the adorable moss bunnies that I got at Home Goods. They’re simple but have lots of personality.

Next to those are the silver lanterns. I use them so much year long! I always have candles in them and they’re one of my favorite ways to add a little ambiance when evening arrives.

They even look great outside the front door lighting the way for guests.

Setting the table is easy with just a few key components to get you started. These little pots were so easy to put together and really only took a few minutes to make.

I’m so looking forward to Easter with the family! What are your plans? Will you be hosting a group at your home?

eight pretty Easter tablescapes

a fun Easter tablescape blog hop

Yesterday, my blogging friend Janet of Rosemary & Thyme blog hosted a really fun Easter tablescape blog hop on instagram that included some of the sweetest and most talented gals who also happen to be amazing at putting together gorgeous table settings.

I shared one of my favorite Easter tables done with blue and white transferware… you know how much I love it!

To infuse a bit of springtime color I used bright yellow daffodils and ruffled tulips to play off the vibrant blues.

💙

Now here’s the best part… sharing my seven blogging friends’ amazing visions.

I just love how each and every one of these talented bloggers has their own unique style and approach to setting an Easter table.

Her table is so bright, cheery and fun!

set the most divine table with this gorgeous floral centerpiece!

Janet of Rosemary & Thyme has a chic romantic style

and this table captures both the fun and elegance of Easter.

Larissa of Larissa Jenkins lives in a 120 year old home in Iowa

and as you can see,
it plays big part of her dramatic tablescape.

showcased her beautiful pink cabbageware plates on her table,
and I’m officially in love with this whole look!

Pam of Everyday Living created a tablescape

with all our favorite Easter elements like these pretty flowers.
Make sure to stop by and check out the rest of her table!

more easter tablescape inspo

Do you ever feel like you get pulled
in lots of different directions?

There are only so many hours in a day,
and so much to get done!

the struggle is real!!
😊

Today was a great day to check
lots of things of the list…

ü getting Easter candy at See’s
ü planning the Easter menu
ü shopping for Easter groceries
ü setting the Easter table
ü clearing the clutter around the house!

As you’ve seen the last couple of weeks,
just for fun

and

also to get an idea of what direction
I want to go for on our actual Easter table.

This one with the moss bunny was a favorite,

I have a few different sets of cute bunny plates,
so I started with those first and then
accessorized around them.

And I love these little vintage egg cups

they’re super fun to include on the table.

but sometimes, I pull myself in a different direction!

 Don’t know what it is,
but I’ve been obsessed with cabbage plates lately

and then

I found four panels of this amazing
shabby chic chintz fabric the other day…

so

I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship...

cabbageware and chintz!

Stay tuned for the final table reveal!

🐇
