a fall table set with pears

Happy Monday! 

Today, I'm sharing a little table I just set in our sun room. 

When I was a little girl, my cousins had two pear trees in their yard...  

I’ll never forget us all climbing on the roof of their garage to pick the biggest and juiciest pears in the world! 🍐  

This table is dedicated to my cousins Carly and Sandy who I love and miss so much. We’ve got to get together soon!  

And you know me, I love vintage goodies, and this table’s inspiration started not only with the pears, but with these darling placemats, which I would guess were made in the 1970’s.  

I also have a collection of these fruit plates that belonged to my mother in law, and I thought the apples and pear plates would work well here.  

At the center of the table we have PEARS instead of flowers! 🍐

P.S.  Did you notice I switched out the glasses? 

I started with the light green for the overhead shots,

and switched out to the deeper green glasses

for shots of the whole room

which looked better with the artwork 

and fall leaves.
