aerin lauder for williams sonoma

I’m really loving the gorgeous new
Aerin Collection by Williams-Sonoma Home.

Have you seen it?

I just got the catalog this week
and am so tempted to order a few of
the beautiful blue outdoor pillows.

The only problem is,
the ones I love are a little pricey,
at about $80 dollars each!

I would totally splurge
on these
ikat ones on the left,
but I would need several
of these to make a bold statement.

So that order is on hold for the moment…

Aerin Lauder is the granddaughter of
Estee Lauder,
and she and her family have
an amazing estate in Palm Beach
where these photos were taken,
more on that later…

This entire line is truly beautiful!

Well, since my
Aerin ikat pillows are on hold for now,
I have to show you what I found at
Target this morning…

Not quite ikat,
but they are in the same
genre of color and geometric pattern,

Target had these on sale.
Here’s the price difference:

Target Brushed Diamond Blue by Threshold$13.50 &
Aerin for W-S Outdoor Printed Medallion Ikat, $79.

So I did end up getting a few at Target
this morning…

and they look fabulous!

trisha's summer table

Isn’t this the sweetest summer table setting by Trisha Yearwood?
Trisha got her plates at Target and the cute napkins are from Minted.

This is an easy look to achieve...just accent with blue & white tableware,
add raffia place mats, and other natural accessories, add some wild flowers,

and you're ready for the sweet tea!

Trisha Yearwood's Sweet Tea

4 large, family-size tea bags
16 cups water
1 ½ cups sugar

Fill a teakettle or saucepan with enough water to completely cover the tea bags, about 2 cups. Bring to a boil and remove from the heat. Let the tea stand for 10 minutes. Put the sugar into a gallon pitcher and add 1 cup of cold water. Stir to mix slightly. Pour the hot tea into the sugar mixture and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Stir in the remaining 13 cups of cold water to fill the pitcher.

thinking about summer entertaining ...

Sparkly, twinkle lights are always so pretty and romantic!

Don’t forget to create a few separate intimate spots in your yard.

Guests will love their individual utensil cups.
These are so easy to put together ahead of time,
and they look so cute.

 Pretty accessories are key.
Group together similar themes items
or accessories in the same color family.

Preparing ahead of time frees you up,
and allows you to relax during your party.

These sandwiches are made in advance and
wrapped in parchment and baker’s twine.

Flowers or pretty plants create a homey atmosphere.
Succulents are long lasting and easy to care for.

I am so inspired and ready to entertain!
You’ll never guess where all these great ideas came from...

TARGET!
