pantone color of the year, Mocha Mousse

Have you heard?! The color of the year is Mocha Mousse and I couldn’t be more thrilled! Although this subdued neutral, it’s quite chic and so versatile!

To quote from the Pantone website: "For 2025, the Pantone Color Institute selects PANTONE 17-1230 Mocha Mousse, a warming, brown hue imbued with richness.

It nurtures us with its suggestion of the delectable qualities of chocolate and coffee, answering our desire for comfort."

Fashion already seems to be hitting its stride with this color of the year. Here are some beautiful gowns (and celebrities) featured in a recent Us Magazine article.

Which look is your favorite? I have to say I prefer the first group of Molly, Rosie, Ashley and Monica.

So dreamy, but back to reality and the thing I'm most comfortable with... tablescapes!!

One of my most favorite jobs ever…

styling tables for Pacific & Rose. This brand-new look is a slightly updated version of the classic LILIBET pattern and is a great neutral colorway known as MOCHA.

Reminiscent of the color of the year, Mocha Mousse, I know this will be one of my faves for ease of styling and giving me that pretty farmhouse cottage look that I love!

This pretty pattern is hot off the press, just arrived from India and is available at Seaside Gallery and Goods.

Also available online at Pacific & Rose. A great way to start the new year… pretty table linens and we’re good to go!

Here’s a collection of accessories in Mocha Mousse shared this week by star Magazine. My pick is the cozy Unhide Little Marshmallow furry blanket in Mocha Shar Pei.

So many cute things to choose from!! The Puma sneakers and the OPI nail polish are my picks of the week!

Even magazines in the UK are jumping on the Mocha Mousse train! This collection of goodies was shared this week by Your Home Style magazine. My pick for an easy Mocha Mousse update... candles!!

Candles, pillows and lamps are all a great way to easily add this color of the year to our homes!

My pick for bringing the color of the year into the kitchen is this gorgeous MarthaStewart Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven in the color “Ganache”. A gorgeous sister tone to Mocha Mousse!

In case you haven’t heard, I started a new Instagram page in October and named it Claudia Fabiana Home. My former page is still up, but after getting a new phone, I was no longer able to log into this account, so the new profile was born!

I hope you’ll follow along with me on Instagram for all the latest projects and décor I will be sharing in 2025.

color of the month: seafoam

Seafoam green is such a refreshing and calming color choice for home decor! It brings a touch of the coastal vibe right into your living space, creating a tranquil and serene atmosphere.

Here’s some inspiration that caught my eye from the pages of Country Living UK magazine.

Painting one or more walls in seafoam green can add a subtle yet significant pop of color without being overwhelming. It pairs beautifully with whites, beiges, and even greys.

Consider adding a seafoam green sofa, armchair, or even dining chairs to bring a sense of calm to the room.

Use seafoam green throws, pillows, rugs, curtains, and table accessories to introduce the color in a more subdued way. It also looks lovely in patterned textiles.

You can add seafoam green through art pieces, vases, lamps, and other decorative items. This can create focal points in the room.

Seafoam green tiles, backsplashes, or cabinetry can bring a fresh, clean look to these spaces.

Complement the seafoam green decor with indoor plants and natural materials like wooden furniture to create a harmonious and organic feel.

Seafoam green has the magical ability to evoke a sense of relaxation and peace, making it an excellent choice for spaces where you want to unwind and feel at ease.

color: mocha mousse for your table

from Pacific and Rose

One of my most favorite things ever…

Styling tables for Pacific & Rose!

Have you heard?

For 2025, the Pantone Color Institute has selected Mocha Mousse, "a warming, brown hue imbued with richness."

"It nurtures us with its suggestion of the delectable qualities of chocolate and coffee, answering our desire for comfort."

As you can see here with this table set in my breakfast room, this Lilibet Mocha tablecloth and matching Mocha napkins are so cozy and inviting!

My favorite way to enhance the beauty of a tablecloth is to add pretty flowers. In this case, a bright bouquet of roses and other garden flowers.

Now the table has quickly changed over from the elegant tablecloth to the more relaxed look of the table runner, placemats and napkin combination

Same flowers, same plates, and we have a slightly different look altogether.

You know how much I like to mix and match, so I took the classic Charlotte Caramel napkin and paired it with this new group of Mocha linens. Just a subtle change can really add a whole new kind of interest to this look.

You can see the difference for yourself…

The Charlotte Caramel napkin is slightly lighter in color but picks up the subtle tan colors of the Lilibet Mocha print nicely.

Ever so popular, the latest Quilted Cosmetic Pouch is, you guessed it… available in this lovely new pattern, as well!

It’s constructed from this exclusive quilted block-printed cotton and the inside is lined with plastic for easy clean-up, and also features two handy pockets. A pretty tassel and beads are attached to the zipper.

These aprons are ideal for working in the kitchen, the garden or the studio. Add the matching Lilibet Mocha kitchen towels and this makes a really nice gift set. And don’t forget to gift yourself a pretty apron once in a while. It certainly makes cooking much more fun!

Described as beautiful workhorses in the kitchen, these kitchen towels are block-printed in Jaipur, India on 100% soft and absorbent cotton.

All the pretty Pacific & Rose kitchen towels have a handy twill loop for easy display and drying.

This pretty pattern is hot off the press, just arrived from India and is available at Seaside Gallery and Goods. Also available online at Pacific & Rose

A great way to start the new year…

pretty table linens and we’re good to go!

fun summer herbs

I really miss those fun days spent going to my favorite thrift stores and flea markets. Ebay has been a good substitute when I need something specific, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised with some of the freebies I’ve found lately.

This rusty old tool box is my favorite color and has just the right patina for planting a few garden herbs. I have a new friend and neighbor, Gary, who was nice enough to give this to me.

I just love how it looks with these colorful plants and culinary herbs, so I set the whole arrangement on the table in my breakfast room. But first, the table needed a fabric element, so I went into my linen closet a remembered that I had picked this cloth up recently the day after a garage sale for free.

Such a cute combo of colors and textures! I added some lemons from the garden for good measure and another pop of yellow.

Have you been treasure hunting lately? I’d love to hear about it!

ciao! fabiana
