a coastal california farmhouse

This slightly rustic and cleanly designed home
was one of my favorites on
the Corona del Mar Home Tour.
It's a spacious and cozy home that has a
great juxtaposition of materials and finishes.
From the aged barn-like ceilings
to the crisp  white walls,
this home is perfect for both entertaining
and intimate family time.
I love the way the ceiling and floors reflect each other.

Pretty dove grey cabinets and doors in the family room.
A cozy nook with simple white windsor chairs
The white kitchen is accented with beautiful grey tones.
The light reflects beautifully off all the natural surfaces.
This is indoor-outdoor living at its best!
Don't you love the cannonballs in the outdoor fireplace?
The color scheme continues outside.
An "x" pattern on the railing is highlighted by wire details.
The upstairs landing is sunny and bright.
A love for all things London is referenced in the artwork.

Isn't this huge double shower amazing?
This is a student rendering from the guide book.

ciao! fabiana

  1. I love your outdoor fireplace. Can you share the type and color of the stone.

  2. Can you tell me where to find that burlap and metal chandelier in the first picture?

  3. is that outdoor furniture (sofas, tables) from Kingsley Bates?

Let me know what you think....
