color inspiration...kelly green!

Kelly green is a pure green color
that got its name from
the lush green landscapes of Ireland.

The Irish family name of Kelly
seemed like the perfect way to
 describe this intense color.

  1. You know, I love kelly green! Unfortunately (most unfortunately) it looks horrible on me (any shade of green does really...). Nonetheless a wonderful post!

  6. Hi Fabiana...this is my second comment, my first one just went 'poof' into thin air...silly google, I'll try again!
I love the kelly green, it has always been one of my favorite colors, it's so bright and happy, it would be fun to see more of it around.
In the second image, the scale of the room is amazing...the lady looks so tiny, I think it's the shelving and the coffeetable/bench, both are oversized...very cool!
Thanks for the visit today...I'll meet you on the porch!

  14. Kelly green is beautiful. I have a hutch in my dining room that desperately needs painting. I've been leaning towards a dark teal, but now I'm not so sure. I think I'll save the first picture to help with decision making. Beautiful!

Also, thanks for your sweet comment. You have a lovely blog.
