beautiful gifts I love

Summer is a busy time for weddings and showers and when it comes to gift giving, I love to give something that will last for generations to come. I always turn to Vagabond House, whose lovely items are all heirloom quality and just so beautiful.

One of my newest acquisitions is this adorable set of Artichoke Salt & Pepper Shakers. They now sit permanently on my table and not only are they gorgeous, they’re just so useful at the dinner table for everyday use.

Best of all, this high-quality pewter will not tarnish. What more could I ask for? They’re just so cute, that they fit in to any table I set. With each use, they’ve proven to be an ideal gift, for sure!

High on my list for summer entertaining is this lovely set. A stunning wood baguette tray accentuated with pewter olive branches and 3 individual wooden bowls.

I like to serve olives (of course), homemade tomato bruschetta and hummus with a side of crusty French bread in this set, but the possibilities are really endless. What would you serve for a summer party?

This lilacs salad bowl was a birthday gift from my sister-in-law...

At 16 inches wide, the extra large size ensures that everyone will get plenty of greens! Isn’t this bowl with matching serving utensils just beautiful? Each piece is decorated with little sprigs of lilacs that I just love.

Napkin rings are the unsung heroes of the table. They can bring a place setting together like no other! And they make a thoughtful gift anyone would enjoy.

Here I’ve set 2 different summery red, white and blue tables and the elegant simplicity of the pewter napkin rings works perfectly here.

Now stoneware has always been a favorite of mine, so when I received this pretty stoneware and pewter creamer set from Vagabond House, I was over the moon.

This is a little set-up I did for a "Christmas in July" theme. The detailed acorn and oak leaf details in pewter are so realistic and lovely.

The versatility of this set is another thing I love about it. The tray could be used for so many serving opportunities and that little creamer would look so pretty on its own with flowers in it, wouldn’t it?

I can't wait until fall, because I think this little set would be so special styled with deep red mums and autumn leaves all while we sit sipping a pumpkin-spiced coffee.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and taking a peek at some of my favorite things. Vagabond House is the first thing that comes to mind when I have a special gift to give, and I'm so glad my loved ones feel the same way.

a peek at farmhouse style christmas 2020

It's never too early for Christmas, and  I wanted to share a peek at the 2020 Country Sampler Farmhouse Style magazine for winter.

Included in this beautiful holiday issue are two of my tablescapes and three holiday drinks for the article called “Toast the Season Drinks”.

Among the 8 yummy drinks in this issue you’ll find the recipes for my Spiced Vanilla Pear Apple Cider, Peppermint Oreo Milkshake and Snickerdoodle Hot Chocolate.

I’m so thrilled to be included in this really fun issue with so many talented bloggers and designers.

And now two amazing holiday recipes...
