favorite tablescapes from the home tour

Today we’re back at this amazing modern farmhouse and it’s time to cover two of my favorite all-time subjects, tablescapes and the Newport Harbor Home Tour!

We’re focusing on the outdoor table and the dining room table settings for this home that were created by the 503found showroom, but we also have a peek at the styling of the coffee table and the kitchen counter, which I like to call the “counterscape”.

Natural materials and the foraged look are on full display here. It’s a casual approach to table styling that works perfectly for this California farmhouse.

I’ll be back soon with one more fabulous house that was featured on the Newport Harbor Home Tour this year. It’s another unique and eclectic one you won’t want to miss.

And if you’re interested in next year’s home tour, mark your calendars of May 14, 2020!

While I’m here today, I wanted to share some of my "Tablescaping Essentials" with you. I have a whole page on the Amazon website with my favorite picks for setting a beautiful table.

Quite often time is of the essence, and I have last minute projects or events to work on, so I turn to Amazon for one or two day delivery. You’d be surprised at how many amazing items they have to offer! And I'm constantly updating this page with my new favorites.

monday fun day

Just popping in to say Hi and fill you in on

one of my favorite weeks of the whole year…

Home Tour week!

But first a little Florida beach house charm

from the pages of coastal living

so cute!

So contrasting to that Lilly Pulitzer eastern coastal style,

we have the super-hip and cool California beach bungalow
of designer Raili Clasen and...

ssshhhh!

don’t tell anyone

😎

but her home will be featured on the tour this Thursday!!

Sneak peek above.

Also featured on the tour this year is a rest stop at
503 found in Cannery Village,

where we can grab some light refreshments and
do a little shopping!

And of course, everyone’s favorite after party

will be at Barclay Butera’s Newport Beach showroom.

I popped in last week and got a peek at
the newly remodeled store.

No one does blue and white better!

There's a new showroom called House of Morrison
right next door to Barclay Butera’s and

they’re styling one of the homes on the tour this year.

This amazing week will conclude with the
💕
joining Prince Harry & Meghan Markle in wedded bliss.

I’ll have my DVR set for 2am on Saturday morning.

It's truly a real Cinderella story,and I can't get enough of it!

Will you be watching?

By the way, this amazing book Contemporary Cottages features this home as it was seen on the Newport Harbor Home tour designed by Shannon Wilkins and it also features a really cool beach house designed by Raili Clasen.

In fact, this new book features several homes by some of my favorite local designers. Check it out here:

home tour : kid friendly and stylish

The home of Kim Rodosky is an eclectic mix of
California casual meets NY loft apartment.
her style is fun, stylish and practical,
as it should be for a family with 6 kids.

Kim has a great eye for home décor finds,
and has recently opened up a petite
warehouse boutique called 503 Found.

Her store is filled with amazing treasures,
large and small.

Kim’s home was just featured on the
so it may look familiar to you.

Here's an in-depth look at her home.

The vintage Corinthian columns and
modern painting are the perfect backdrop
for this gorgeous teal sofa.

I love the spaciousness of this room
and the mix of art on the walls.

Comfortable seating with
gorgeous views of the backyard.

Lots of access to the amazing backyard.

A pretty and hip girls' room.

I love this cozy library with
color coordinated books.

The backyard features a variety
of intimate outdoor spaces.

This is the perfect spot for entertaining!
