color for your front door

Your front door is the first thing
your friends notice when they visit your home.
Does your door reflect your personal style?

In early America, a red door was
a sign of welcome to a passing traveler.

A blue door may mean you have an easy going attitude.

A free spirit may choose a purple hue.

Yellow on your door exudes a sunny personality.

A green door may reflect a more traditional style,
and if you choose black it may mean
you like a timeless look.

What ever color you choose should
bring a smile to your face when you arrive home!

happy halloween from the 'hood

It’s amazing how one little pumpkin or two
can really brighten up your front door.

It’s such an easy way to finish off

After all, October is the perfect time to brighten your
front door with a little pop of holiday color!

A few cute orange pumpkins here and there
 usually do the trick.

And speaking of Halloween porch décor,
these snapshots are a few of my favorite looks
from the neighborhood.

A bright pop of orange at the front door
is the perfect accent to add a little fun to your curb appeal.

Our neighborhood is suddenly blooming
with Fall 🍁 colors and décor!

Most of these homes are quite traditional,
but they all have their own style as well, don’t they?

This community is pretty unique.
I’ve chosen the more simple and
elegant ones to share with you all today!

Oh, how I love to see inspiring Halloween décor done right!
Isn’t this entry cute?

I can’t wait ‘til Halloween!

shut the front door!

How do you create a fun and
charming impression for friends and family

Keep your entry hall clean and uncluttered.

Have useful and pretty lighting,
and a table of counter space
to set down keys, bags and other things
that you may be carrying
when you come in the front door.

Remember first impressions are important!
