brass furniture now

Brass furniture, once so passé, is looking quite hot these days! Caroline Stanbury’s new home in Dubai is looking sleek and chic. The gold tone of her brass table and chairs gives off a modern vibe, but has the elegant style of the 1970’s, #throwback!

And this look is turning up in lots of fun stores now too! Jonathan Adler, known for retro-chic style, is featuring brass furnishings like crazy right now!

Add a little touch of glamour to your home! Maybe you just need a can of metallic gold spray paint to update some of your things! Think out of the box...

Look at this brass bedside table. It’s got ultra-traditional style that’s always a classic.

I say “YES" to these gorgeous barstools

This little work space would look wonderful in any room!

So cute!

While I’m here today, I wanted to share some of my "Tablescaping Essentials" with you. I have a whole page on the Amazon website with my favorite picks for setting a beautiful table.

Quite often time is of the essence, and I have last minute projects or events to work on, so I turn to Amazon for one or two day delivery. You’d be surprised at how many amazing items they have to offer! And I'm constantly updating this page with my new favorites.

You can check it out here, at Tablescaping Essentials.

cb 2 favorites

I just received the CB2 catalog this week and am crushing on a few of their gorgeous items, especially all the brass and copper accented pieces, and the white marble items.  CB2 is so different and so much hipper than their parent company Crate & Barrel.

Look at this amazing marble and brass "Dahlia" desk with that chair...wow!

I've had my eye on this coffee table for quite a while!
LOVE!

This cane back sofa is pretty but I wonder how comfortable it is.

Simple and luxurious flatware finish options.
Which one would you choose?

The copper would be an
interesting addition to a tablescape.

A coffee table that can double as a intimate dinner setting.

I love the idea of two stacked square mirrors!

More sleek copper shown in this etagere
and these accessories.

What do you think about the copper accents?

my favorite shops: weekend inspiration

As we go in for the final countdown of thanksgiving week, I wanted to share a little tablescape inspiration from my visit to South Coast Plaza today.  How do you like to set your table for thanksgiving gatherings?
