That
"autumn is around the corner" feeling is official with the fall issue
of Cottages and Bungalows magazine!
I'm so
excited to be included in the gorgeous October issue with 19 of my favorite
fall florals that I've created being featured.
From
sunflowers to hydrangeas to dahlias, flowers will always brighten up your home for fall!
Here's a little peek at the magazine pages...
Kelly McMaster the editor of Cottages and Bungalows wrote the most thoughtful introduction to this article.
Here’s a little snippet…
“A long-time
friend of our brand and talented content creator Claudia Reese has cultivated a
gorgeous and abundant garden. Her floral styling skills are exceptional and her
flair for including them in vignettes throughout her home are awe inspiring.
Whether Claudia uses blooms from her garden or store-purchased finds, she
creates magic with them.”
“We asked her for the inspiration behind her arrangements along with tips we
can all use in our own homes to add vibrant fall color.”
As an added bonus, I'm also sharing a few florals I've created over the last month using flowers exclusively from my garden.
I love experimenting with combinations of autumnal flowers and foliage, bringing together classic favorites like mums, dahlias, and zinnias to create unique and inviting displays.
These florals not only celebrate the beauty of fall but also bring a sense of coziness and charm to every room.
Each arrangement featured in the magazine was inspired by the rich, warm hues and textures that define the season.
As the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp, I find even more joy in sharing these seasonal arrangements with family and friends.
The colors and textures of fall florals naturally lend themselves to festive gatherings, cozy dinners, and quiet mornings spent admiring their beauty.
For those looking to
bring a touch of autumn into their own homes, I always recommend starting with
a few favorite blooms and layering in unexpected elements like berries,
branches, or ornamental grasses.
With a little
creativity, anyone can transform their space into a welcoming retreat that
reflects the spirit of the season.
