Hello friends and let’s hear a warm
welcome to December! The last month of the year… how did this happen so
quickly?!
Having just realized the urgency to start on my Christmas gift list, I have to share with you some of my favorite and newest treasures from Vagabond House that I’ve recently added to my collection, because a lot of them make great gifts!
The Pewter Acorn Flatware is a set that I use an awful lot during the fall and winter months.
You may have seen this
latest Christmas tablescape on Instagram recently, and you can see up-close how
pretty the details of each individual utensil handle are.
Also part of the “Lodge Collection" from Vagabond House is this gorgeous set of Deer / Elk Salt and Pepper Shakers.
They really make a statement at the dinner table, and I love how they coordinate with some of my favorite vintage plates and table runners.
At this place setting we’re
featuring the elegant Antler Napkin Rings. These beauties are understated, but
offer that quintessential winter feeling and bring thoughts of the forest and majestic woodland creatures to mind.
Here are some of my all-time favorites:

ü The Pewter Acorn Measuring Spoons
I can’t get enough of my new Quail Napkin Rings! This little quail is the just sweetest!
Our family has always
had a love for quails, and I think it’s fitting that they’re a symbol of hope. These are perfect for the holidays, and they'd also be pretty for a spring table setting.
And here, a pair of quails makes an appearance on our sideboard in the form of Standing Quails Salt and Pepper Shakers.
This duo has a stately presence
on the dinner table, and they’re just so beautifully and realistically depicted
in pewter.
Here’s something that you didn’t know you really needed…
The Santa or “St. Nick” Pewter Pick Set. This little set is a
perfect solution to the ordinary wooden toothpick, when it comes to serving
cheese at any party. So cute too!
They also make the most elegant picks to hold your Martini olive, Bloody Mary garnish or strawberries on a fruit
platter.
A gorgeous white stoneware piece like this
Squirrel Stoneware Canister can hold a multitude of goodies in your kitchen,
butler’s pantry or dining room. I like to store cookies in mine, since the seal
is airtight and things like baked goods, coffee and tea stay fresh longer.
This one has a cute little squirrel
on top, but there are dozens of different motifs to choose from, and even comes
in a smaller coordinating size to make a pretty pair on your countertop.
Thanks for stopping by today and checking out some of my favorite pewter and stoneware pieces from Vagabond House.
I know it's hard to pick favorites because there are so many pretty options! I like to start with essentials that know I'll use.
For gift giving, I look for something that is pretty but practical.
I'll be back in a couple of days with a fun feature from Better Homes & Gardens magazine that you won't want to miss!
ciao! fabiana
