Marrakesh is a fun Moroccan restaurant that
my husband and I like to go to
in our neighborhood.
The tables are low, intricately
decorated with
cushioned banquets and mounds
of pillows and cushions,
sexy lanterns and knotted draperies.
The experience transports me to
another time and place. Think Casablanca with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid
Bergman.
It’s so very romantic.
A must have at Marrakesh is the bisteeya,
a flaky pastry filled with
chicken, almonds, garlic and
sprinkled with cinnamon.
It's perfect with mint tea or a
minty mojito.
I can't help wanting to bring a
little bit of that
experience home with me.
With a little inspiration from
pinterest, maybe I can...

Hello, Fabiana. We just returned from Newport Beach earlier this week...even lovelier than I remembered. I'm really, really trying to add you to my bloglist, but each time I try the address goes to your old blog. Any idea why this is happening? I'm going to check to see if I'm following you. If I'm not, I will be your newest follower. By the way, we ate at 3Thirty3 while there, and loved the food and the ambiance. Nice to "meet" someone from there! ~Zuni
Oh I just loved this post - love all Moroccan themed rooms!
Definitely your newest follower - would love to have you follow back
when you have the time!
Hugs,
Suzan
Hey Fabiana! I LOVE this look! Definitely where the shabby chic-bohemian look originated from. It's so happy, cozy, and inviting -- and very romantic. Thanks for the inspiring photos!!!
