my pool side beverage cart

I'm so happy with how my little bar cart turned out.  All it needed was a good scrubbing and some spray paint.  I got all the rust off of the chrome with Brillo pads.  They worked like magic.  Now, I'm all ready for entertaining this summer.  I've already stocked up on some of my favorite drinks.  Not too bad for a little $12 yard sale find.

The cart before, Kenzie is on the left

After - I used a flat black spray paint on the frame and handles,
and "Ivory Silk" and "Aqua"  Rustolium in a satin finish on the center panels.

Here's some more summer inspiration:

  1. That looks awesome. You did a great job. I have something similar...I can't wait for the weather to warm up here enough so that I can be outside and use it. Thanks for sharing at DIYbyDesign.

  26. I am on the lookout for one of these. Yours turned out great. It seems hard to find one that's tall enough to be a true "bar" cart. Thanks for sharing these great examples.
