pretty home of G & B

Giuliana and Bill Ransic's Los Angeles home

is the perfect nest for a successful young family.

Tufted details and soft drapes in the living room

add a  glamorous and plush vibe,

and the scroll-printed wallpaper is subtle, but elegant.

Who wouldn't like to come home

to this fabulous room after a long day at work?

The dining room is also elegant, but casual .

Colors are kept soft and neutral and like

the rest of the house.

An Hermes throw on a curvy and studded chair.

The family room still feels plush,

but with a more laid-back feeling.

Graphic pillows and bold monogram

details keep this room fun.

Black and white is always a classic look.

The dark floor in the all-white kitchen

anchors the space.

When life gives you lemons,

put them in a pretty bowl

to add a little color in the kitchen!

Imagine watching tv while soaking in this tub…

or showering here with this huge rain spout.

A dreamy closet for Giuliana.

The all white theme continues in the back yard.

Nothing’s more tranquil than the sound of water.

The elegant pool with a slate surround.

And the icing on the cake is baby Duke's nursery.

A soft color palette of blues and tans

mimic the colors of the beach.

Isn't the monogrammed crib divine?

a cozy cottage in Venice Beach

This Venice Beach home has a casual relaxed elegance

that’s perfect for a family with dogs and kids.

Slipcovered furniture and rugged hardwood floors

are a must in this California beach house.

Vintage finds and salvaged pieces

set the tone for the dining room.

Seashells, hand blown glass and a vintage map

bring a beachy vibe into the entryway.

I also love the unexpected use of

an exotic rug on the fun tile floor.

A paneled ceiling sets the tone for

this bright kitchen and

the rusty light fixtures

anchor the space.

 Luxurious materials like carrara marble

were used in the master bathroom

along with romantic lighting.

Everything was kept light in the master bedroom.

Dark furniture pieces were painted pastel colors

to achieve a relaxed coastal look.

Mint green and bright orange liven

up this little girl's room,

and is a slight departure from the

neutral colors in the rest of the house.

Hooks for beach towels and hats and a cozy built-in

with storage and are functional as well as beautiful.

Do you have a favorite room?
