white pumpkins for the table

Here's a really pretty seasonal fall display that's so easy to put together, and you only need four items to create a similar look.

I started out with a flower box from Oriental Trading and filled it with mini white pumpkins and Dusty Miller from Roger’s Gardens.

I kept the Dusty Miller in the six packs they came in and just cut them into individual little pots to stick in-between the pumpkins. This way they can still be watered.

Finish off with some green moss!

Nowadays, the selections of pumpkins are so fun!

By the way, this wooden box had a natural finish, but I wanted to age it a bit.  Have you ever heard of the steel wool and vinegar trick?

All you do is soak some steel wool in a jar with a solution of half white vinegar and half water.

Let it sit over night with the top off so it comes in contact with air, and the next day seal it up and shake it.

Rub the soaked steel wool on your wood and voila, you have a natural gray stain... It really works! I'd advise testing it out on a small area first.

It’s as easy as that…

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

💕

While I’m here today, I wanted to share some of my "Tablescaping Essentials" with you. I have a whole page on the Amazon website with my favorite picks for setting a beautiful table.

Quite often time is of the essence, and I have last minute projects or events to work on, so I turn to Amazon for one or two day delivery. You’d be surprised at how many amazing items they have to offer! And I'm constantly updating this page with my new favorites.

You can check it out here, at Tablescaping Essentials.

the paris market in savannah

The Paris Market & Brocante…

the name alone provides me
with plenty of intrigue.

And, they’re one of my favorite
profiles on instagram,
their feed is filled with pretty gifts, decor and

a lot of shots of their yummy coffee being served alfresco...

so when I got the chance to visit
Savannah this summer,
the Paris Market was at the top of my list!!

And it all starts out here
with their pretty curb appeal!

Their café is filled with yummy treats
and the aroma of rich coffee.

Inside, the Paris Market is equally as charming,

and the indoor seating is perfect for a rainy day.

I stocked up on candles and soap while I was there,

and even found a really cute pair of earrings,
since I forgot to pack any for the trip!

So, I had no idea there was more to see downstairs…

The vibe downstairs was totally different.
Beautiful vignettes are set up in
he whole basement level.

It kind of reminded me of Anthropologie, but better!

The crusty old walls, exposed beams

and brick floors are real remnants of the past

and the beauty of the old architecture
shines through the displays and décor.

The concept of the store is
an ever changing museum installation
with items you can take home!

There's a stunning display around every corner...

What could be better than that?

Aren’t these cocktail glasses sweet?

Next year,
the Paris Market will once again
be at the top of my list for
places to visit in

And I know my husband will come with me again.
He was also really impressed with it!

Ahh, I can’t get enough of the pretty curb appeal of this place!

If you're planning a visit,
the address for
the Paris Market is

36 West Broughton Street
at the corner of Whitaker Street.

carole radziwill's updated apartment

Do you miss the
as much as I do?

This past season was soooo
momentous and monumental,
thank you Sonja,
and I’ve been having serious
withdrawls ever
since the last reunion aired...

and the other franchises don’t seem
to compare in the least!

Well, to tide us over
until next season,
here’s a peek at
newly redecorated
apartment,
fresh from the pages
of Architectural Digest.

And guess what?!
Her iconic tiger print sofa has finally
been reupholstered!

I think the soft gray
and
blue color palette
was the perfect choice.

Looking good, Carole!

a spotlight on beauty

Meet Agnes Grumslys of Agnes Beauty at the Tek Salon & Spa here in Costa Mesa. I met Agnes a few weeks ago when I scheduled an eyebrow waxing with her. We hit it off right away!

I found that she and I shared a lot of the same principles about skin care, so I wanted to hear more of what she offers in her salon.

Agnes uses organic based products that contain no toxins, or synthetic ingredients and they contain certified organic ingredients. They’re literally gentle enough to be used on baby skin.

My ears perked up when she told me about the microcurrent facial she does. It’s basically a non-invasive mini facelift! It consists of an hour of gentle massaging of your face with two wands that give off tiny currents of electricity.

Microcurrent is rumored to be Jennifer Aniston’s secret!

It sounds a little unusual, but it truly works to help stimulate muscles and tissue in your face and neck. It’s a gradual process, but I instantly noticed results after my first session! I'm scheduled for five initial facials, with monthly treatments after that to maintain “the glow”.

I don’t know about you, but I’m scared to try Botox, and this is a great alternative to Botox! My face looks and feels firmer, but without the weird side effects that Botox has.

We’ve all seen really bad botox reactions (or should I say non-reactions) on certain people, right?! Frozen face or droopy eye, no thanks!

Beautiful skin reflects the state of our health. Our skin is our largest organ, so we have to love, protect and pamper it because skin covers and protects everything inside our bodies.

Another one of my favorite treatments is Agnes' Oxygen Facial. Oxygen is essential for human life and as we grow older, oxygen levels in our skin naturally decline, which contributes to wrinkles and fine lines.

It replenishes the levels of oxygen in your skin, and as a bonus, it also smooths out the wrinkles, gives you a more youthful appearance and leaves your skin glowing.

And now, I've also got Agnes on speed dial for any upcoming special events. She amazing with makeup too!

For more info,
check out:

·    Prices vary between $50 to $120
·    230 E. 17th St. Suite #120, Costa Mesa, CA

Disclosure: I did receive one complimentary treatment in exchange for a review of Agnes Beauty. My microcurrent treatments are not compensated. The opinions on this blog are honest and my genuine intent is to share wonderful things and things that I love with my readers.
