3 new favorites from Pacific and Rose

Pacho Slate, Pacho Saffron and Granada Stone

It’s a lovely August day here today, and so perfect cutting some of my favorite garden flowers… dahlias and zinnias! They come in so handy for styling tables and bring such cozy vibes to the whole room and outdoor spaces.

This week Pacific and Rose is introducing three new looks with the newest pattern called Pacho and a fan favorite called Granada

Let's take a look at Pacho first! It comes in a pretty Saffron color and a very elegant Slate color.

Check out the Pacho Slate tablecloth poolside in my backyard. It features a hand block printed floral design in slate-gray on white cotton. This simple palette is so versatile for both everyday use and special occasions.

This summer in my garden, it's been all about dahlias! I have dozens and dozens of dahlias that I'm growing, so it's really fun to put them together in a little arrangement like this!

Zinnias are the perfect companion to dahlias. They're both such happy flowers and instantly put a smile on my face!

A bold floral arrangement like this instantly brings the whole table together, and of course matching Pacho Slate napkins finish off this look perfectly.

In the breakfast room, the Pacho Slate table runner makes its debut! Our little kitten Peanut felt comfortable enough with the pretty gray and white color scheme to relax for a bit tableside!

This table features the table runner paired with the Pacho Slate placemats and napkins for a lovely cohesive look.

Back to a little alfresco look in the backyard with the gorgeous Pacho Saffron tablecloth, styled on this table with the matching placemats and napkins.

Not only is the Pacho Saffron print so beautiful for summer, but imagine it style for autumn, Halloween and of course, Thanksgiving!

I saved my prettiest yellow, peach, coral and soft neutral dahlias and zinnias from the garden for this special table. A soft velvety ribbon accentuates the colors of the flowers and the saffron color in the most special way!

We brought the whole arrangement back inside for another lovely moment in the breakfast room. I set up a little impromptu Thanksgiving table just to share how pretty it would be for this special holiday.

I just love the pattern and the border of the Pacho napkins too! They're so pretty for displaying on each dinner plate.

A few adorable little turkeys are a brilliant homage to the Thanksgiving tradition, and when I use this Pacho Saffron tablecloth again on November 27th, I’ll be sure to add some pretty white pumpkins to the table to cozy it up even more!

The lovely Pacho print doesn’t stop at tableware! There are a few other special pieces designed in this same print that I’d like to show you.

It's so easy to organize your essentials with the Pacho cosmetic pouches. They feature the same hand block printed cotton with a bonus of a protective plastic lining with two pockets. Trust me, these are so perfect for makeup, toiletries, and travel.

Best of all, there are 4 different looks to choose from, and they pair beautifully with the matching cotton voile robes.

I have several of these flowy and lightweight kimono robes from Pacific and Rose, and trust me, you'll want one in every color... to suit your mood!!

The Pacho kimono robe is made from cotton voile and is perfect for wearing at home or as an additional layer at the beach or lounging out be the pool.

The robe has comfy wide sleeves, a relaxed fit, and a pretty contrasting trim on the sleeves, pockets, and belt. I love how each robe comes folded in a matching envelope, making it a perfect gift or a little self-indulgence.

I love to add a touch of style to my kitchen each season with a new apron. I do a lot of cooking, and an a pretty apron really makes me feel cozier in my own kitchen. This new Pacho apron has the most spacious front pocket, making it both functional and stylish for me to use in the kitchen and in the garden.

It's so fun to combine the apron of your choice with a set of two matching kitchen towels for an easy gift set for cooking and design lovers alike.

The Pacho kitchen towels bring understated elegance to everyday tasks. I can’t get enough of this lovely swirling floral motif! Most importantly, they're as functional as they are beautiful.

Soft, absorbent and durable, these towels are perfect for drying dishes or lining the breadbasket at the dinner table.

If you’re like me, you can never have enough pretty cloth dinner napkins! Here are the latest options, Pacho Saffron Floral, Pacho Saffron Verso, Pacho Slate and Granada.

You may have noticed that some of the items like the napkins, cosmetic bags and towels come in a bonus print called “Pacho Verso”. Similar to the primary print “Pacho Floral”, the Verso just gives us another fun option for mixing and matching.

Summer into fall is one of my favorite times of the year for inspiration. I love the moodiness of the eucalyptus leaves with the bright pop of pink from the coleus with the subtle color palette of the Granada tablecloth and matching napkins.

The Granada print features a stylized interpretation of the traditional pomegranate motif from Pacific & Rose. It's block printed with stone blue, indigo, and olive tones for a combination of cool weather colors.

I love that these colors are so versatile, just like a pair of favorite worn-in dungarees. The combination of colors lends itself to matching with practically any color combination, as you can see here with the Granada table runner in my breakfast room.

As you may already know, I love pairing both the table runner and the tablecloth with the matching placemats and napkins. This trio of table linens brings a lovely feeling to each place setting.

A collection like Granada would not be complete without the addition of matching kimono robes, aprons, cosmetic pouches and kitchen towels

As you can see here with these lovely examples, this pattern is both timeless and classic and I just love the color palette!

My little assistant Peanut agrees that this is the perfect time to treat ourselves to some new and gorgeous new table linens and/or indulge in a new little robe or apron!

I simply can't resist the Saffron patterns for fall. It's just the prettiest shade of yellow!

how to host a garden party

Let’s talk easy Garden Party vibes…

Every garden party must have flowers and cake! My favorite way to dress up an alfresco soiree is to set the table with pretty floaty linens that can rustle gently in the breeze.

Stop and take a peek at this gorgeous new Garden Pink Tablecloth and Napkins from August Table. This is a super easy way to instantly set a beautiful table when you start with pretty table linens like this and then simply add your everyday tableware and a big bouquet of flowers.

A lovely bouquet of cottage garden flowers always helps to brighten the table. The theme of this bouquet is “what’s blooming today in the garden.”

I’ve recently been watching Sarah Raven floral how-to videos on YouTube, and she inspired me for this floral creation!

All of these flowers were all grown in our cottage garden and are just loosely arranged in an antique Majolica pitcher that belonged to my husband's great grandmother.

The look of these table linens is so cozy thanks to the fact that these are all 100% linen. The darling little stylized floral pattern is a classic.

A store-bought apple bundt cake from Irvine Ranch Market is perfect for adding adorable garden flowers to the top.

Here’s what’s blooming in my garden right now and what is topping the cake:

💗Roses
💗Dahlias
💗Geranium
💗Yarrow
💗Mint

💗Sweet Williams
💗Verbena

💗Borage

Creating a cozy and welcoming ambiance is all about paying attention to the little details and making your guests feel comfortable.

This year I’m growing fewer vegetables in this garden, and I’ve been focusing more on cut flowers, especially dahlias, with a few zinnias and cosmos sprinkled in.

This delicate bloom is a "collarette dahlia", and the variety is Hartenaas. It's one of my favorites!!

Raspberry pie is such a perfect summer treat, especially when topped with fresh whipped cream and berries from the garden. I grow Boysenberries and Jewel Black Raspberries, and we also have a few strawberries and blueberries in pots near this garden.

There's nothing quite like home-grown fruit for quality and taste!

June in the garden is the most magical time of the year, and I couldn't resist setting an impromptu little table to share with all of you and with my friends Cindy, Mary Ann, Annie, Juliet and Kim.

They also know a thing or two about styling beautiful outdoor tables and are queens of entertaining! Check out their newest posts here:

red, white & blue alfresco night

The start of the summer season means we’ll be alfresco-ing all day! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even snacks...

And why not, when red, white and blue is ‘all that’ for summer? I love this color palette!

Summer entertaining has become a true joy with these fun additions to my collection of tableware and decor.

As the days grow longer and gatherings move effortlessly from sun-dappled patios to cozy indoor spaces, I love having pieces that blend charm with practicality.

I’m also loving my new rattan and glass cloches. They’re great whether we’re dining inside or out.

These 2 different sizes are so perfect to hold a variety of our favorite muffins, cheeses and fruits and best of all keeps our snacks protected from the elements and the bugs.

In addition to the fun cloches, a few other new treasures I found are sprinkled around like the votive candleholders, blue and white plates, windowpane plaid throw, pedestal and the vintage inspired jug holding the flowers.

Every year I look forward to my blue agapanthus blooming so I can combine them with whitehydrangeas and ruby red geraniums from the garden for a fun patriotic look.

It’s these little touches that make every meal feel special and thoughtfully styled, whether it’s a festive brunch with friends or a quiet evening supper with family.

Layering different textures and patterns—think crisp linens, woven accents, and delicate glass—creates a sense of relaxed elegance that feels just right for the season.

To tie it all together, I love adding fresh flowers in unexpected vessels and scattering a few candles for that magical, golden-hour glow. The result is a table that’s both inviting and a true reflection of summer’s easygoing spirit.

The pretty striped 100% linen napkins and tablecloth are from All Cotton and Linen. They’re so perfect for this kind of summer look!
