Designer Kristan Cunningham mixes and matches design styles in
her historic 1925 L.A. home. She creatively modernizes this vintage home
with simple and inexpensive flea-market finds. As you take a visual tour
of this home, enjoy all the gothic-style arches in the doors, windows and even
the staircase. I love the simple color pallet and rich textures.
Do you recognize Kristan from HGTV'S "Design on a Dime"?

Wow! What a fantastic house! I just adore it. I've always liked her and wish we'd see more of her again on HGTV. But obviously she is doing well for herself since she has this crazy pretty home.

Just couldn't help but stare at the photos of this awesome house! I am intrigued that the stairways design changes from the first level to the landing of the second floor!
thank you for linking to Amaze Me Monday!
I featured this today at Mod Mix Monday. Just love this home.
I love this house. Mine's from 1923 but I don't have nearly that many cool elements. It almost borders on L.A.'s famous storybook houses which took themes from the early movie industry; whimsical. I just found you through...hmmm, where was I, busy blogging...I think My Romantic Home; you'd commented, not shared? I like your blog! Love the trips around SoCal section but I couldn't pull up the one on Balboa Island. I'm north and would love to get down that way to do some local sightseeing (born in L.A., but parents flew to suburbia!). My ex-boyfriend had family in Carlsbad and I used to love to go down there from here. I've heard the traffic between L.A. and San Diego has gotten horrendous but there's so much great stuff to see. I love our SoCal! Anyway, I'll definitely return here; FUN blog!
