mrs. George Clooney and the dress

Amal during a fitting with wedding
dress designer Oscar de la Renta.

The magazine covers are due out later in the week.

Amal's style is impeccable.

Over the weekend,
Amal was spotted wearing:

Giambattista Valli,
Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen,
Dolce & Gabbana
and Stella McCartney.

The "it" couple of the moment.

Wow!

Her simple diamond band.

And that's how amore is done in Venice!

p.s. where do you think Brad and Angelina were?
There was no sign of them at the wedding.

decor : Lauren Conrad style

Feminine details and fun colors
are the general vibe of
Lauren Conrad’s Beverly Hills penthouse.

A tufted orange sofa, a mirrored coffee table,
zebra rug and lots of vintage finds make this
a very ciao- worthy home!
I love that it has a touch of old-Hollywood to it,
but in an updated style.

look of the day

Cozy and elegant,
chic but comfortable,
and so beachy.

A simple, but grand fireplace
is the focal point of the room.

Great balance in design.

Ultra cozy seating.

Great natural light and rustic elements.

Soothing colors.

George and Amal's pre-wedding party

Amal’s stunning red and black dress
nearly outshone her smile,
but she was definitely a total package
last night when she stepped out for
the pre-wedding festivities in Venice, Italy.

George looks pretty good too!
No word yet on who the designer of the dress is.

And, not only are they
the most elegant couple in the world,
but OMG, look at how stunning their
custom monogram is!

favorite closet details

Today,

I’m just sharing

a few of my favorite

chic closet details

1. having drawers under the hanging clothes
and an antique table to hold accessories.

2. added luxury with a chandeliermirrored
vanity, white pouf and a white fur rug.

3. hooks and rods for hanging jewelry.

4. a washer and dryer in the closet!
How easy would that make things?

5. a floor to ceiling shoe rack and fabulous wall paper.

6. a wall of shoes and clutches
with an alcove for a favorite piece of art.

7. interesting "catch-alls" for jewelry.

8. a center island of drawers and a touch of pink
in this gorgeous closet.

9. a chic gray color with streamlined details.

10. a making the closet feel like room.

Joan Crawford and this unknown starlet knew
all about the importance of shoe organization,
back in the day!
