new table linens for spring and summer

After an adventurous journey all the way from India, the newest spring styles from Pacific & Rose have arrived!

From tablecloths, napkins and runners to tea towels, aprons and robes, I'm loving the pretty blue and green  tones that mix and match so effortlessly.

Which of these three napkins (above) would you choose if you had to set a table right now? I'll give you some inspiration on how I love to use these pretty table linens...

First up is Gayatri Blue & Green, seen here in my new veg garden. This pattern is so lively that you simply need your everyday dishware and a pretty bouquet of flowers to set a table like this. That’s it! Easy as pie!

The blues and greens are so pretty in this pattern. The napkins can be used with solid or striped tablecloths too, for a unique look.

The Gayatri Blue & Green pattern also comes in a fabulous table runner and placemats. The fabric is a little thicker on these two items, and they just add great appeal to any table.

Roll out that runner, and you’ve instantly added loads of charm to your dining space, indoors or out! Above, you can see the brand new Anouk print. It comes in this fabulous blue color!

Here’s the Anouk pattern shown in a nautical look using the napkins and placemats, along with the runner, at the center of the table.

(Info on the Wicker Anchor pieces is provided at the bottom of this post.)

The color of this Anouk tablecloth is amazing in that it can go from casual to formal in a flash!

Dress it up or dress it down. It’s up to you!

Any of the square sized 60” x 60”tablecloths also work great on a small round table like this one I have out by the pool.

The third pattern is this new trio is called Larisa, and features more of a geometric chevron stripe pattern and mixes and matches so well with the Gayatri and Anouk patterns!

Here’s the Larisa tablecloth featured in the little French part of my garden that we like to call the potager. As you see we kept the tableware and flowers simple, so the pattern of the table linens really takes centerstage.

All the roses are from my cottage garden, and easily arranged in a vintage white ironstone pitcher.

COMING SOON! Something really new… beautiful bandanas!

Who can resist one of these pretty patters to wrap around your neck or wear in your hair in the most stylish of ways?

The new spring line of goods also makes gift-giving a breeze. Check out the 3 pretty kitchen tea towels that are sure to spice up any kitchen setting.

The great news is Gayatri Blue & Green, Anouk and Larisa also come in robes, makeup bags and aprons!

The lightweight voile cotton robes are always so soft and comfy. I own quite a few, and they’re perfect for lounging around in, putting on after bathing or anytime you want to relax around the house and feel pretty while doing so.

They’re also great for packing into your bags for your next trip. They don’t take up much room at all!

And speaking of vacay time…

Summer travels will be much brighter when our makeup bag is upgraded to one of these quilted beauties! Which cosmetic pouch would you chose?

These aprons are ideal for working in the kitchen, the garden or the studio. Hand block-printed by artisans at our fair-trade workshop in Jaipur, India

Getting back to the outdoors and all of the alfresco tables we will be setting this spring and summer, here’s the gorgeous Lilibet  Caramel Indigo tablecloth and napkins set in the backyard for a little evening soiree.

It's back for summer, by popular demand!

I love these Pacific and Rose linens so much. They’re always a hit at a dinner party and tend to make my home feel special too.
