“Get Cozy with Fall Color” is the theme today. The first photo is a little peek at page 24 of the new Autumn issue of Country Sampler Farmhouse Style magazine.

 

Inspiring this summer into fall vibe is another look at this same space…

 

Every evening at about six o’clock, the setting sun streams beautifully into my living room. 

I recently added these faux fall leaves, not as a deliberate design statement, but just as a place to hold them over until September rolls around.

 

For a few brief minutes every evening any worries I have seem to melt away momentarily at the sight of these illuminated branches. Out the window, summer is in full swing with the glimpse of my dahlia beds starting to fill out.

 

I planted several new dahlias only a month ago, and they’re finally starting to do their thing. August is a welcoming sight! Happy Saturday, friends!
