copper accents for a fall table

I just love the warmth of copper at a table. It doesn’t' take much. A simple lantern and a few mugs bring the look of this table together.

Now let’s talk table linens... A favorite pattern in a new colorway, this is “Talelayo” by August Table in Sparrow. I can’t even begin to tell you how perfectly these colors fit into my home. It’s a match made in heaven.

Vintage place mats set the napkins off from the tablecloth in the most fabulous way. The napkins are folded to show-off the silverware and create little packages for each guest.

Who doesn’t love a little package to unwrap!?

Instead of flowers at the center of the table, we have our copper lantern and a few small eucalyptus branches placed down the middle of the table to soften the whole look.

Beautiful blue dinner plates bring out the blue in the Talelayo pattern, and a white salad plate is added for contrast.

I changed things up a bit by rotating the table this week. Now we have a lovely view of the garden and shed beyond, where the trumpet vines are still growing wildly.

These soft colors are so pretty for fall!

Unique napkin folds are fun to learn, and Martha Stewart has some great ones. This one’s called the Angled Pocket Napkin Fold

How cute is this pillow with the table? A Home Goods find from two years ago. The colors are so perfect in my home!

Here’s another view of the table. What makes the tablecloth and napkins extra special is the whip-stitched border and the heavier cotton twill of the fabric. These pieces are so soft to the touch.

In a close-up view of the “Talelayo” Sparrow, "Trillium” Lancaster and “Talelayo” Pewter, you can see the pretty stitching detail. In case you missed it, check out the table I set in September with the “Talelayo” Pewter linens.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. For more on these fun August Table linens, visit these links:
