home tour house # 2

This gorgeous farmhouse in Costa Mesa
was our second stop on the
Newport Harbor Home & Garden Tour.

The outside just drew me in with its
classic curb appeal and
its sleek updated traditional style.

As I was walking up to the porch,
what first got my attention was
the beautiful blue dutch door.
It's the perfect color!

Lots of colorful drought-tolerant
and native plants surround this corner lot.

These fun porch chairs
were just outside the guest room
and were styled by
The Wonder Room.

Garden Studio Design
used lots of plates, platters and bowls
filled with grapes, kumquats and honeydew
in the kitchen and outdoor spaces,
as part of their floral design.

I loved that idea!

Super cute lounge area
styled by The Wonder Room with
a little help from Serena & Lily.

Here’s the amazing kitchen
snapped before any staging was done.

Done to perfection!

The backyard lounging space is roomy and
is seamlessly connect to the indoor spaces.

So zen!

Perfectly blended neutral materials are
a mix of modern and traditional elements.
These floors are oak with a
beautiful beachy driftwood-like finish.

White and gray marry perfectly.

What do you think of the floating nightstands?

You know how much I love a Peacock Chair!

This bedroom is perfectly serene for this modern farmhouse.

The homeowner and interior designer
spent lots of time picking out all
the pretty light fixtures in the home.

And they look perfect in each space!

Everything flows beautifully.

The upstairs landing has a few subtle graphic moments,
yet it's light, bright and airy.

I hope you enjoyed this little outing through this home!

I’ll have more on the
