staircase question


I am trying to decide whether to change my runner 
or go for the bare wood look.

Do you prefer your stairs with a runner or without?

    I like it better without a runner. With that said, if you have elderly or little ones in your home, you may want the runner as bare stairs can be more slippery.

    I think the runners make a staircase elegant.
