Blue represents both the
sky and the sea,
and is associated with
open spaces, freedom, intuition,
imagination, expansiveness, inspiration,
and sensitivity.
Blue also represents meanings of
depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity,
wisdom, confidence, stability,
faith, heaven, and intelligence.
The color blue has positive effects on the mind and the body.
As the color of the spirit,
it invokes rest and can cause the body
to produce chemicals that are calming
and exude feelings of tranquility.

I love it all! I am a bit of a blue and white hoarder.
ReplyDeleteSo fun!! I pinned off of this quite a few times. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteGreat collection of blue and white -- I saved some of it for beach house ideas. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteWhat charming living spaces! I am in love with the office with the long bulletin board and neat picture and the tiny powder room with the wonderful wallpaper and fantastic shell-edged mirror! There is so much to take in, and all of it just lovely--thank you for sharing it with us!

*** Sweet Fabiana, you NEVER DISAPPOINT!!! GR888888 blog today!!! Just GR888!!!
ReplyDeleteTwo things~~~ That KOI WALPAPER n' BASIN are TO-DIE-FOR c*h*a*r*m*i*n*g!!! Ohhhhhh, yes!!!... "True love!"...(This, from a born n' bred gal from So Cal). Of course, it would N*O*T "work" here in the desert, no matter HOW hard I could try! Dang it all!!!)...
The other "thing" is tha the first pic (of the foyer) seems, to me, just soooo "cluttered" and a bit "confusing" (for lack of a better word), altho I adore the colors. My thinking is that E*I*T*H*E*R a fab chandelier O*R a FAB vignette on the table would be terrific, but here, the chandelier ANNNND the beautiful shell "centerpiece" compete for one's eye/attention. Then you have the trees in the windows... I suspect a better choice would be something not so thin & "spiny". I dunno... is it ME or might you agree??? Would love to know your opinion on this...
Thanks, as ALWAYS, for a super blog that I ALWAYS look forward to seeing/reading! Your wonderful choices are ALWAYS right on TARGET!!!
Warmest,
Linda in AZ *
