There was another royal wedding yesterday.
The setting was Edinburgh, Scotland,
and the bride was
Queen Elizabeth's eldest granddaughter,
Zara Phillips,
also cousin to Prince William.
Zara looked radiant and happy as
she tied the knot with rugby star Mike Tindall,
in a low-key affair that was ultra-glamorous.
Of course, royal watchers couldn't keep
their eyes off William and Kate,
who are the cutest couple ever,
and Prince Harry looked pretty handsome as well.
Even Prince Charles looked very
distinguished in a grey suit.
I love how the British gals wear their hats.
It makes it so fun to people watch!
Here are some highlights
from their pre-wedding yacht party.
ciao! fabiana

I always kept up with the happenings in Princess Di's life because I got married around the same time as she did. Now my daughter is interested in Prince William and Kate because they are about the same age. It's funny how it goes down the line. Lovely photos.

Hi Fabiana - I have an odd question for you - I post your blog on my blog roll, but when I click it says blog removed - when I look at the address is says elusive or exclusiveciaonewportbeach....etc. I copy the url exactly - I've done this several times - but each time it registers it as the wrong url - do you have some other url blog address? Has anyone else mentioned this to you?
ReplyDeleteBest Wishes!!!!

ReplyDeleteThank you SO MUCH for posting those great photos!!! I think Kate looked fabulous at the wedding. I hope she popularizes panty hose again. I think she HAS to wear them but, oh well. Was Price Harry's girlfriend there? She's not the one with the grey drape-y dress and red hat on is she?
ReplyDeleteLovely! A fun post too. Hugs

ReplyDeleteThose hats! They do INDEED make it fun to people watch though. But I wonder how some of them get into a vehicle gracefully. ;)

How wonderful for you to show us a peek at another fabulous wedding. I am loving the hats but I don't know if I would be brave enough to wear one esp. since here hardly noone wears hats. I wish they could come back with a rage. I have come from Very Merry Vintage Style, drop by for a visit. Kathy
