I don't think I could wear two really different prints (like the roxy ones), but two solids that look good together and a pattern and a solid for sure. I have a polka dot Athleta top that I wear with a few different bottoms. Sometimes you just have to mix since sometimes the matching top or the bottom sells out first. It's really frustrating when that happens, but learning breaking free of our matchy-matchy desires is probably a good thing.
