fall desserts taken to a new level

An old-fashioned southern apple bundt cake recipe is updated with the warm spice of chai. Perfect for autumn, this bundt cake can be made for family and friends alike. Treat everyone to a little taste of the fall season! The finishing touch, once the cake is completely cooled, is a hearty drizzle of caramel frosting. Recipe found here: Apple-Spice Bundt Cake.
A Battenberg Cake features two flavors of light sponge cake with a layer of jam and the entire cake is then covered in a thin layer of marzipan, like a present. When cut, the layers appear as a distinctive two-by-two check pattern. In some parts of the US, this cake is known as a checkerboard cake, for obvious reasons! Recipe found here: Pumpkin Spice Battenberg Cake.
